Wilson Jones, an 86-year-old native of Trenton, died on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004 at a Long Beach, CA, hospital.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Cypress, CA.
Mr. Jones was born Jan. 18, 1918 in Trenton, the son of Elmer and Martha Laurence Jones. He lived in Trenton until he was adult. He served in the Army during World War II and was stationed in Germany. He worked in airplane factories until his retirement.
He was married in 1941 in California to Jean Cooper of Half Rock, who survives of Lakewood, CA.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Donald of Murietta, CA, and Larry of Lakewood, CA; and one grandsons, Michael, of Cerritos, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Marilyn Jones; and five brothers, Clifton, Kenneth, Major, Dale and Robert.
