Gerald I. “Ike” Ralston, an 84-year-old resident of 1417 Pleasant Plain in Trenton, passed away on Wednesday morning, Feb. 26, 2003 at Eastview Manor Care Center.

Gerald I. “Ike” Ralston, an 84-year-old resident of 1417 Pleasant Plain in Trenton, passed away on Wednesday morning, Feb. 26, 2003 at Eastview Manor Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2003 at the Trenton Church of Nazarene. Rev. Steve Bramblett will officiate. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens north of Trenton.
There is no scheduled family visitation at the Slater Funeral Home in Trenton.
Mr. Ralston was born in Trenton on Nov. 30, 1918, the son of Vernal and Lanah Kennedy Ralston. He attended Trenton schools. Mr. Ralston was retired from Trenton Municipal Utilities, where he was an electric plant operator. He was a member of the Trenton Church of the Nazarene. On Nov. 21, 1937 he was married to Hazel Mae Hobbs at Trenton. She passed away on July 23, 2000.
Mr. Ralston is survived by one son, Anthony Ralston and his wife, Marlene, of Trenton; two grandsons, Bradly Ralston and his wife, Cassi, of Grandview and Bently Ralston of Kansas City; one great-grandson, Brendan Ralston of Cadiz, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Ralston was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Ralston; one great-grandson, Bailey Ralston; and one cousin, Max Chandler.
