The goat and dairy cattle shows highlighted judging activities at the North Central Missouri Fair on Thursday.

Goat Show
Haley Alden of Hamilton showed the supreme doe, with Annabel Thomas of Bucklin showing the reserve doe. Sheldon Guilford of Unionville exhibited the supreme champion buck, with Cally Mastin of Winston showing the reserve champion buck. The Supreme Champion Market Goat was exhibited by Haley Alden with Jalane Alden of Hamilton showing the Reserve Champion Market Goat.

Dairy Show
The Supreme Champion Dairy Female, a Holstein, was exhibited by Megan Schmidt of Laredo, while Emily Schmidt of Laredo exhibited the Reserve Champion Dairy Female, a Jersey.
Showmanship awards went to Megan Schmidt in the senior division and to Tawnya Harding of Browning, junior division.
Megan Schmidt showed the Grand Champion Holstein, with Tawnya Harding showing the reserve champion Holstein. Emily Schmidt exhibited the Grand Champion Jersey.
Tawnya Hardy exhibited the champion junior Holstein, with Colton Hardy exhibiting the reserve champion junior Holstein. The champion senior Holstein was exhibited by Megan Schmidt and Tawnya Hardy exhibited the reserve champion senior Holstein.

Flower Show
There were 22 participants entering 190 flower examples in the North Central Missouri Fair Flower Show.
The Best of Show Award went to Martha McRae for her Country Paths roadside arrangement. Most Unusual Plant Award went to Lucille Smith for her Gloxinia.
The Top Ribbon Award went to Martha McRae. Jacob Hall won a total of 11 ribbons.

There were 24 exhibitors bringing in 87 articles for this year’s horticulture show.

Today’s schedule included the ladies lead line, pee wee and regular sheep show. ATV races are featured at tonight’s grandstand show, which gets under way at 7 o’clock. There is also free courtyard entertainment at 7:30.
Saturday’s events get under way at 8:30 a.m. with the beef bucket calf show, followed at 9 a.m. by the breeding beef and steer show. The horse show is at 10 a.m. at the North Missouri Saddle Club grounds. The grandstand attraction is the demolition derby at 7 p.m.
Events conclude on Sunday with mud races at the grandstand at 4 p.m.
