Items on the announced agenda include a public hearing to receive comment on the USDA Rural Development Community Facility Direct Program for police and fire equipment; an ordinance approving a work order agreement between the city and Howe Company, LLC for engineering services for replacement, rehabilitation and extension of sewer mains and the the Pleasant Plain Road lift station, discussion of an animal welfare committee, discussion/approval of painting the old R-9 building at the airport, discussion/approval of hazardous inspections for the demolition project, discussion/approval of ordering street and water/wastewater distribution backhoes early, discussion of closing Main Street on Thursday afternoons, discussion of a Main Street Trenton/Trenton Downtown Improvement Association request for financial support, review/approval of memo regarding the six-month budget review and COLA increases, discussion/approval of a solid waste collection container on city property and discussion/approval of access consent on property at the Fire Training Center. A closed session to discuss real estate is also planned.
