Norman Thomas Stuart, a 92-year-old Trenton resident, passed away at 3:28 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
He is to be cremated under the direction of Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.
A private inurnment will be at a later date in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.
Mr. Stuart was born May 14, 1929 in Humphreys, the son of Thomas Sidney and Doris Allen Stuart.
On Feb. 24, 1951 he was united in marriage to Veda Fern Walker in Harrison, AR. She survives of the home.
From 1951 through 1953 he served as a Corporal in the United States Army. He worked for Trenton Foods for 43 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Connie Ellis and her husband, Jim of Trenton; a brother, Rex Stuart and his wife, Kay of Trenton; grandchildren, Susan Ellis of Trenton and Charlie Ellis of Chillicothe; great- grandchildren, Jessica Huffman and her husband, Thomas, Dalton Ellis and his fiancee’, Tiffany Oliveira, Terrin Ellis, Sydney Ellis, Emily Ellis and Madeline Ellis; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ronnie and Gene Stuart; and a brother, Bobby Stuart.
