Roy E. Brown

Roy E. Brown, an 83-year-old Trenton resident, died at 2:25 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednes-day, Feb. 16, 2022 at Resthaven Mortuary at Trenton.
His body will be cremated after the service.
A family visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until service time on Wednesday at the mortuary.
Mr. Brown was born Aug. 6, 1938 at Trenton, the son of Ray and Frances Howard Brown. He was owner and operator of A & A Pest Control and had also operated Brown Furniture. In his early years he operated a hay crew.
He was a member of the Dunlap Baptist Church.
On Aug. 26, 1956 he was married to Wanda Maxine Harvey at the Honey Creek Chapel Church, east of Trenton. She preceded him in death on May 31, 1999.
His survivors include two daughters, Barbara Rogers and her husband, Richard and Patricia Michael and her husband, David, all of Trenton; a son, Joe Brown and his wife, Patricia of Trenton; eight grandchildren, Angela Woodworth and her husband, Chad, Kaleb Rogers and his wife, Abby, Ariel Brown and Daniel Hansen, Ashley Brown, Ciera Hines and her husband, Samuel, Brittany Etter and her husband, Dustin, Kelsey Marrs and her husband, Shey and Courtney Michael; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great- great-grandchildren; one sister, Norma Hammond and her husband, Kenny of Trenton; one brother, Charles Brown of Wichita, KS; and close friend, Louise Brown of Trenton.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials are suggested to Honey Creek Cemetery and may be left with the mortuary.
