Candidate Offered Ambulance Director Position

The Grundy County Commission has offered the position of ambulance director to a candidate, but that person has not yet accepted, according to Grundy County Presiding Commissioner Phil Ray.
The commission made a decision on who to hire at its meeting on Tuesday afternoon, but no announcement has been made as to who the person is. The commission had announced in the fall that they would be seeking candidates for a full-time director and that the current director, Steve Tracy, was eligible to apply for it. Tracy has been serving in the position in a part-time capacity and also working as a paramedic on the Grundy County Ambulance.
