There were no upsets in Princeton on Friday as the Princeton girls held serve against visiting Gallatin and the Gallatin boys rolled to a victory. Princeton took the girls game 57-29 while the Gallatin boys returned home with a 73-30 win.
In the girls game, Princeton used a 21-7 first quarter run to set the tone for what would be their game to win. Gallatin’s offense would struggle all night against the Tigers, never reaching double figures in any one quarter. It all added up for the Tigers, who took the game by 28 points.

In the second half, Gallatin was at it again, outscoring Princeton 20-11 in the third quarter before coasting through the fourth on the way to the 43-point win.
Gallatin got 17 points, five rebounds and three steals from Isaac Bird and Payton Feiden added 14 points and eight rebounds. Layton Shubert finished with 11 points while Durk Stout and Brett Hemry each scored seven points with Hemry swiping five steals.
Princeton, meanwhile, got 12 points from Talan Holt and nine from Mason Morris.
The win pushed Gallatin to 6-1 overall and 1-1 in the GRC. Princeton, meanwhile, dropped to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in league play.
