Donnie Robert “Don” Brashar, an 83-year-old Trenton resident, passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 at his home.

The body has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home at Princeton and there are no scheduled services.
Inurnment will be held in Early Cemetery in Mercer at a later date.
Don was born on Dec. 2, 1937 in Davenport, IA, the son of Robert and Hallie Roberta Pigg Brashar and raised by his step-father, Harold Walters.
Don lived his early life in Princeton and was a 1958 graduate of Princeton High School. He went on to serve in the United States Army, where he was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Sam Houston, TX and in Germany. He moved to Trenton in 1969. He then worked for Trenton Foods for 27 years. In his free time he enjoyed treasure hunting with his metal detectors.
Don is survived by his caretaker and friend, Sharon O’Banion.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a best friend, Bill O’Banion.
