The Grundy County Commission plans to discuss ambulance rent at the city’s Public Safety Complex when the Trenton City Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday at city hall. The meeting is open to the public but can also be accessed on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85758988042.
Other items on the agenda include an ordinance setting the filing dates for the April municipal election; an ordinance granting a conditional use permit to Wayne and Mary Rorebeck on behalf of Robinson Outdoor LLC to allow for a class D sign to be erected in a B-3 zone on property located at 1909 E. Ninth St.; an ordinance abolishing and vacating a portion of East 12th Street between Mable Street and Tinsman Avenue and reverting the right, title and interest to adjacent property owners; an ordinance approving a solar access easement agreement for the purpose of protecting the solar access of specified lots adjacent to city property and further approving assignment and assumption of interconnection and operating agreement related to the solar farm; and a resolution determining the intent of the city to reimburse itself for certain capital expenditures in connection with the acquisition, construction, improving and equipping the city’s water system. The council also plans to make appointments/reappointments to the Domestic Violence Surcharge Board and hold a closed session to discuss a legal matter.
