Larry Joe Marrs, a 67-year-old Laredo resident, died at 3:15 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021 at his residence.
His body was cremated under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home of Trenton, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
Mr. Marrs was born Nov. 23, 1953 in Ravanna, the son of George Henry and Golden L. Burgess Marrs.
On July 28, 1979 he was married to Saundra Kay Rowland at Princeton. They had just celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary.
He is survived by his wife, Saundra, of the home; three daughters, Vicki Marrs (Ty Perry), Elizabeth Miller (John Woodland) and Sarah Golden (Brian “BJ” Golden); eight grandchildren, Tristin Perry, Trinity Perry, Elexyss Miller, Bradly Miller, Lillian Golden, Creed Woodland, Caragan Golden and Harper Golden; three sisters, Doloris Stark, Linda Combs and Mary Foley; and two brothers, Ronald (Ronnie) Marrs and John R. Marrs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, June Anderson and Doris Levy; and one brother, Roy Marrs.
