The Grundy County Commission held a lengthy closed session during its meeting on Tuesday, discussing a personnel matter.
Although the closed session was not listed on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting, Presiding Commissioner Phil Ray said the commissioners met to discuss a personnel matter. While no announcement was made concerning the meeting, Ray said in a separate matter, the resignation of paramedic Hollie Anderson has been accepted as she has taken a position with the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services.
In other business from Tuesday’s meeting, Ray said the commission met with Scott McDonald of Veenstra and Kimm, Inc. of Liberty to discuss the Request for Proposals concerning the county’s upcoming bridge project.
