T-C Board OKs Budget

The Tri-County R-7 Board of Education approved its 2021-22 budget during a special meeting held Wednesday.
According to information provided by Superintendent David Probasco, the board is anticipating revenues of $3,821,585.06, with expenses projected at $4,008,171.51 for an expected deficit of $186,586.45. That deficit will be offset by the carryover in the 2020-21 budget.
The board also approved payment of the remaining bills in the 2020-21 fiscal year and voted to make needed fund transfers. Board members were updated on the status of ongoing capital projects. Proposals for renovation of the old gym were reviewed, with no action taken, and COVID-19 planning was discussed, also with no action taken.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Thursday.
