Thursday night was a rough one in Grundy County as numerous residents have reported damage from what appears to be at least two tornadoes.

According to Grundy County Emergency Management Director Glen Briggs, his damage surveys show two separate tornado paths, one starting at the south edge of Tindall, going east for about a mile and a half.

There was extensive damage from Thursday night’s storm at the Mark and Kristi Urich Farm, located east of Laredo.
The second path starts near 37th and Onyx Lane and travels to 45th and Highway J, northeast of Galt.

The Galt City Park was one area the saw damage from storms that rolled through Grundy County Thursday night. One tornado took a path just to the northeast of the town.

Power lines were down on Eighth Street in Trenton on Thursday morning. Power was out to hundreds of residents across the county.
Numerous residents were without power for several hours and crews were working Friday morning to get it restored.
