With vaccinations still being offered at three local locations, the number of COVID-19 infections is remaining steady.
According to Grundy County Health Department Administrator Elizabeth Gibson, there are currently 19 active cases in the county, with nine of those coming from persons age 20 to 39 and eight coming from those age 40 to 59. There is one active infection in a person age 19 and under and one in a person age 60 and over. Since the pandemic began there have been 1,131 total cases of the virus.
Vaccinations are available at the health department, the Wright Memorial Hospital Physician’s Clinic and Hy-Vee Pharmacy.
