A Celebration of Life service for Kathryn Jean Witten will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 6 at Hodge Presbyterian Church in Trenton.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family had decided to delay a service until such a time as it was deemed safe for everyone.
Kathryn was called to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021 at North Kansas City Hospital.
Kathryn was born July 27, 1955 in Trenton to Lloyd and Carole Payne.
In 1978, Kathryn married Richard, and together they managed a farm in the Trenton area where they raised crops, cattle, sheep and hogs.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Payne, and her father, Lloyd Payne.
She is survived by her husband Richard Witten of Trenton; her daughter, Jenna Gibson and her husband, Luke Gibson of Savannah; her son, Michael Witten of Trenton; her grandsons, Jake and Cale Gibson, of Savannah; and her mother, Carole Payne of Trenton.
Kathryn will be remembered for having a big heart, a contagious laugh and the energy to always help others in need.
