The North Central Missouri College baseball team saw its season come to a close on Monday as the Pirates fell 7-5 to Northern Oklahoma Tonkawa at the Plains District Tournament in Enid, OK. The loss was the second of the tournament for the Pirates, who were defeated 2-0 by Arkansas Rich Mountain in the opener of the tournament.
Despite the 0-2 showing at districts, North Central closed the season with a 26-20 overall mark. That record marks the first time in over 15 years that the Pirates finished the season above .500.
