The Spickard Board of Aldermen approved its 2021 budget during a meeting held April 12.
According to information provided by City Clerk Amy Chapman, the board unanimously approved the budget with no information available on the expected revenues and expenditures.
In other business, the board heard a report on sewer operations, voted to adjust bills for customers who had large water leaks, agreed to seek bids for cash rent of the hay at the lagoon and voted to allow Evergy to use the fairgrounds as long as needed as long as the grounds are maintained and returned to the original condition. Board members tabled action on scrap hauling and the city savings account.
The next meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, May 10 at city hall.
