The Tri-County R-7 Board held a special meeting at Jamesport on April 19, accepting bids and approving a salary increase for certified and non-certified staff.
According to information provided by Superintendent David Probasco, the board tabled concrete bids, but selected Park Planet to design and construct a playground. A bid from Midwest Mini Barns was accepted for a storage shed for the daycare and an internet service allowance for staff that worked remotely in response to COVID-19 was approved.
Board members approved steps and a 3 percent increase to the base for both certified and non-certified staff. That puts the base salary at $31,114 for the 2021-22 school year.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, May 10.
