Resumes Considered For Public Administrator Position

Feb 24, 2021 | Announcements, County Commission, Courthouse News, Headline News

The Grundy County Commission met with the Grundy County Republican Central Committee on Tuesday, considering resumes of those who are seeking to fill the position of public administrator due to the resignation of Jill Eaton.
Under Missouri statute, the county commission is to appoint someone to serve in the position until Gov. Mike Parson appoints a person to serve until the November 2022 election. To keep as much consistency as possible, Presiding Commissioner Phillip Ray said the commission plans to appoint whomever the Republican Committee selects to nominate to the governor. Ray said the commission will meet again with the central committee at 5:30 p.m. Thursday to finalize that selection.
