The Spickard Board of Aldermen conducted a special meeting on Monday night, tabling action on one item.
According to City Clerk Amy Chapman, the board tabled discussion regarding the Grundy County Mitigation Plan until the Dec. 14 meeting. Filing for positions on the Spickard Board of Aldermen begin on Tuesday, Dec. 15 and will continue until Tuesday, Jan. 17. Persons can file for the April 6 election at city hall during regular business hours. The terms of mayor Alan Tharp and board members Maggie George and Daniel Chapman will be expiring.
