The Trenton High School Golden Bulldog Marching Band participated in the 29th annual Clark County Parade of Champions on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The band, competing in Class 3A, placed second in the parade and third in the field show events. Wright City and Central Lee of Iowa were the other bands participating at the 3A level.
Drum majors Ellie Boman and Amanda Parrack were selected as winners of the Outstanding Band Major Award, scoring 86.5 points out of 100. The drumline was just four points away from receiving the Outstanding Drumline Award, scoring 91 of 100 points.
Ethan Stewart is the director of bands in the Trenton R-9 School District.
