The Trenton Planning and Zoning Commission is postponing a public hearing scheduled for Tuesday night. The hearing involves a request from GabeChrisman and Aetna Newton for a conditional use permit to locate an outdoor theater on property at 2306 Oak St. and 2211 Stanture St. City Administrator Ron Urton said the hearing is being postponed due to a large amount of interest expressed in the project and concerns regarding COVID-19. Postponement will give the city time to provide information to the public regarding how written comment can be made and how person can attend the hearing via Zoom. The hearing has been postponed until Monday, Oct. 5. A hearing scheduled by the Board of Adjustments At 7 p.m. on Tuesday night will still be held. Jeff Page is requesting a variance to allow for construction of a building at 812 West Crowder Road.
