Abilene, KS residents Hope Jeanette Layne, formerly of Trenton, and John Howard Higgins, formerly of Princeton, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020. The couple were married on Oct. 2, 1960. Their children, Johnnie, Jeanette, Joe and Jeffrey, are requesting a card shower for the couple.
