Spickard R-2 Board OKs Non-Certified Contracts

Non-certified staff contracts were approved during a meeting on Monday, April 20 of the Spickard R-2 Board of Education.
Superintendent Jonnie Beavers reported a contract was offered for a Parents as Teachers position, however, the contract has not been accepted. Board members discussed the COVID-19 situation and were told extended learning is being provided to students along with breakfast and lunch meals. There is also a “care closet” available for those students in need. She also told the board May 15 will still be observed as the last day of school for this year.
The next board meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 15.
