Violet M. Wilson, a 91-year-old resident of Spickard, died at 3:40 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020 at Saint Luke’s Northland Hospital at Kansas City
The body was cremated under the direction of Slater-Neal Funeral Home at Trenton. A memorial graveside service will be held later.
Mrs. Wilson was born on Aug. 1, 1928 at Lucerne, the daughter of Jim and Chole McLaughlin Anderson. She graduated from Lucerne High School.
She was married on June 26, 1946 to Oral Wilson, who preceded her in death.
She and her husband owned the pool hall and restaurant in Spickard. She also worked part time as a cook at the Spickard School and help her husband farm.
Her survivors include one son, Mike Anderson and Amy Davis of Trenton; one daughter-in-law, Melinda Wilson of Trenton; one son-in-law, Ron Glidewell of Galt; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded her in death by her parents; one daughter, Twillia Glidewell; two sons, Darrel Wilson and Roger Wilson; one sister, Vivian Anderson; and one brother, C.J. Anderson.
