The Grundy County-Jewett Norris Library is closed and will not be offering any services until further notice.
The office of “Young at Heart” (formerly the Northwest Area Agency on Aging) has closed its offices at Albany and Cameron to the public until further notice. Staff remains available by telephone at 660-240-9400 to provide information for services available as well as answer questions.
Events planned later this month at Black Silo Winery have been postponed/cancelled. A performance by the Joe Stamm Band, scheduled for April 18, has been rescheduled for Oct. 2. The Battle of the Bands competition to select opening acts for the Mid-America Music Festival later this year has been cancelled for 2020 and will now be held in April 2021.
