David Ray Landes, a 61-year-old resident of Jamesport, died on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
A private graveside service and burial will be held in Pilot Grove #2 Cemetery at Jamesport.
A visitation will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2020 at Roberson Funeral Home in Jamesport, which is in charge of arrangements. Due to the COVID-19 virus, there will be a 10-person at a time limit at the funeral home during the visitation.
Mr. Landes was born on March 24, 1959 in Jamesport, the son of William R. and Twilah Edwards Landes.
He was a member of the Jamesport Lions Club, served on the Jamesport Special Road District Board and the Jamesport Fair Board and was a Jamesport FFA alumni.
He was married on Dec. 3, 2004 at Trenton to Tracey Allen, who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Emily Landes of the home, Aaron (Micah) Landes of Jamesport, Tyler Lane of Overland Park, KS and Ami Lane of Turney; a grandson, Blaine Landes; his mother, Twilah Landes of Trenton; a brother, Greg (Lori) Landes of Jamesport; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Billy Scott Landes.
Memorials may be made to the Jamesport Lions Club in care of Roberson Funeral Home, 503 S. Broadway, Jamesport, MO 64648.
