Mar 19, 2020 | Headline News

The North 65 Center has suspended serving meals on site, but is offering a “grab and go” option for persons over the age of 60 who would like a meal and would be able to pick it up.
Administrator Karen Otto said persons can call the center the day before (359-3058) to schedule a meal, which can the be picked up the next day between 11 a.m. and noon. A contribution of $4 is being suggested to help pay for the food.
The center will continue home delivery in the city limits of Trenton at this time, but may soon re-evaluate that situation and change delivers to two days a week. However, the same number of meals a client receives would still be delivered, just over a two-day period. At this time, the center has waived “homebound” from the requirement of individuals age 60 and over receiving a home-delivered meal. Persons who qualify can call the center to have meals delivered. A $4 per meal contribution is also suggested for this service.
All schedules are Monday through Friday. Questions or concerns may be addressed by calling the center.
