Mildred Robinson, a 92-year-old Trenton resident, died at 9:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will follow in Half Rock Cemetery.
A visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until service time on Wednesday.
Mrs. Robinson was born on June 14, 1927 in Harris, the daughter of Wade Hampton and Helen Mildred Gibson Stanturf. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1946.
She was married on Feb. 12, 1948 to Jack Robinson, who preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 1989. After their marriage they lived in Waterloo, IA for two years, then moved back to a farm in the Harris area. They co-owned a farm supply in Galt, where Mildred was the bookkeeper for several years.
She was a member of 10th Street Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include her son, Mark Robinson and his wife, Tracy of Platte City; grandchildren, Ethan Robinson of Chicago, IL, Colby Robinson of Kirksville and Gabrielle Robinson and Dakota Robinson, both of Platte City; and great-grandchildren, Chloe and Olivia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Chris Virlin Robinson; two sisters Joy Brown, and Nelda Hobbs; and a brother, Rev. William Stanturf.
Memorial donations are suggested to Half Rock Cemetery and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
