Until further notice, Sunnyview Nursing Home and Apartments will be restricting visitors due to concerns with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The following visitors will not be allowed:
• Those who have traveled internationally within the last 14 days.
• Those who have signs or symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as a fever, cough and/or sore throat.
• Those who have had contact with someone with or under investigation for COVID-19.
Visiting hours have also been restricted to 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, for all other visitors. If a separate visiting time is needed, persons can call the nursing home at 359-5647 to arrange a time.
The guidelines have been provided to Sunnyview by the CDC and CMS to help keep residents safe. CDC is also recommending that nursing home staff assess visitors for signs and symptoms of illness and assess a temperature on visitors. Visitors to Sunnyview are being asked to stop in the office to take a quick survey and have their temperature monitored.
