Andy Hill is joining the champs.

Hill, a 1980 Trenton High School graduate, was named the assistant special teams coach for the World Champion Kansas City Chiefs on Friday.
Hill served as the special teams coordinator for the Missouri Tigers during the past two seasons, his 23rd and 24th seasons on the Tigers’ coaching staff.
However, when Missouri transitioned from Barry Odom to Eliah Drinkwitz after this past season, Hill – who served under Larry Smith, Gary Pinkel and Odom at Mizzou – was not retained.
That left Hill searching for opportunities and he found one with the Chiefs. In Kansas City, Hill will assist Special Teams Coordinator Dave Toub coaching a unit that consistently ranks at or near the top of the NFL.
Hill played for Missouri from 1980-84 following his graduation from Trenton. He was a volunteer assistant coach at Southern Methodist University before moving to Hutchinson (KS) Community College, where he was an assistant from 1992-1093 and the program’s head coach in 1994 and 1995.
