Bruce Alan Branham, a 57-year-old former Trenton resident, died on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020 at Mary Washington Hospital after a short but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg, VA. Burial will be private.
A family visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020 at the funeral home.
Mr. Branham worked as a computer scientist for 35-plus years at NSWC in Dahlgren and at James Bimen Associates. He was an avid guitar player and baseball fan. He also enjoyed home improvement projects, vacationing with his family and coaching his children’s sports teams.
Survivors include his wife, Betsy Bergman Branham; children, Adam (Haley Ruff), Emily, Alex and Andrew Branham; his mother, Ada Branham; siblings, Michael (Robin) Branham and Sandra (Pres) Manuel; brothers-in-law, Rick (Elisabeth) Bergman and Scott Turnbull; a sister-in-law, Bobbe (Bill) Warrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Branham; and a sister-in-law, Marta Turnbull.
