Tri-County Offers Contracts To Princpals

Contracts were offered to administrators during a meeting of the Tri-County R-7 Board of Education on Monday night.
According to information provided by Superintendent David Probasco, Wade Hall was offered a full-time principal’s contract at a salary of $56,500, with the contract to run through the 2021-22 school year. Pamela Cox was offered a part-time principal’s contract at a salary of $31,650. Her contract would also run through 2021-22.
The 2020-21 school calendar was adopted, with the first day of classes to be Tuesday, Aug. 25 and the last day being Thursday, May 20. Approval was given to invest a $150,000 certificate of deposit with Home Exchange Bank at a rate of 1.86 percent for eight months.
The board voted to seek bids for the 2020-21 financial audit. Approval was given to the purchase of a laptop from SHI as well as the district’s renewal of membership in the OSBA health insurance consortium. There was discussion regarding the budget, transportation and MSBA updates, with no action taken.
The next meeting of the board will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 in the superintendent’s office at the school in Jamesport.
