She married Gerald Moore on June 29, 1947. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 1971. They had one daughter, Debra.
She loved to play golf and some of her happiest memories were of the golf course, whether it was playing golf with her grandson or in a women’s tournament. She was an avid bridge player and belonged to several different bridge clubs before her illness.
She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church and Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughter, Debra Moore (Randall) Huffstutter of rural Trenton; a grandson, Jason Lowrey and two great-granddaughters, Ella and Aubree Lowrey, all of Houston, TX; and a niece, Delores Barker of Cabool.
Upon her request, there will be no funeral service held. Private burial of her ashes will be held at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter.
