Two Arrested After Failing To Appear

Two persons have been arrested following their failure to appear in court as ordered.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Spickard resident Linda S. Wilcox, 64, failed to appear in court on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm, a class C felony, and has posted $2,500 bond. She is scheduled to be back in court Feb. 13.
Also scheduled for a Feb. 13 court appearance is Josy N. Simmons, a 28-year-old Trenton resident who failed to appear on a charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid, a class D felony. She has also posted $2,500 bond.
