A race has been created for the Trenton R-9 Board of Education when a fourth person filed on Tuesday for one of 3 three-year terms to be filled in the April 7 election.
Incumbent Doug Franklin, who is the current board president, filed for the board on Tuesday morning at the district office. Franklin, along with incumbents Corey Leeper and Brandon Gibler as well as Andy Burress, are the candidates for the board at this time. Persons wanting to file for the board have until 5 p.m. today (Tuesday) to do so at the district office.
