Steven Robert McNutt, a 71-year-old Trenton resident, died at 5:21 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, 2020 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A family visitation is scheduled from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. McNutt was born on May 30, 1948 in St. Joseph, the son of Charles and Crystal Hayworth McNutt.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry of the home; a daughter, Alicia Stogdill of Grand River, IA; a sister, Betty Miller of Creston, IA; a brother, Marvin McNutt of Bedford, IA; a step-son, Justin Berry and his wife, Adriana of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren, Matthew Berry, James Steven “Jimmy” Berry and Hayes Stogdill; step-grandchildren, Gregory Wright and Tony Warren; a sister-in-law, Linda Patterson; a brother-in-law, Bob McIntyre and his wife, Julia; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry McNutt and Kenneth McNutt; an infant sister, Rebecca; and his mother-in-law, Joan McIntyre.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Green Hills Animal Shelter of Trenton and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
