It wasn’t much of a game Monday as the North Central Missouri College women’s basketball team leveled the visiting Graceland University junior varsity 94-47 on Monday night inside the Ketcham Community Center in Trenton.
The North Central women wasted little time establishing their dominance, running out to a big lead and never looking back.
Lily Osborn led the way for the Pirates, scoring a game-high 21 points. Kortlyn Rounkles followed with 18 points, 10 assists and six steals and Kennedie Kieffer finished with 13 points and seven rebounds. Dymeria Guillory was in double figures as well for North Central, scoring 10. Angel Wiggins added nine points and four assists in the win.
With the win, North Central moved to 12-5 overall on the season. The test will be much tougher when the Pirates return to the court on Saturday. North Central will host Kansas City, Kansas, Community College – the second-ranked team in the nation. Tip off at the KCC is set for 2 p.m.
