Area residents with questions regarding livestock can have them answered when an extension specialist makes monthly visits to Trenton.
MU Extension livestock specialist Jenna Monnig,will be at the Grundy County Extension office the last Monday of each month, beginning on Monday, Jan. 27. Ms. Monnig will be in the office, located in the basement of Willis Alexander Hall on the North Central Missouri College campus, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Ration balancing and hay testing of enrollment in the Show-Me-Select Replacement Heifer Program are among the questions that can be addressed along with other livestock-related topics.
There is no cost and no appointment is necessary. On-farm consultations are also available by appointment. Ms. Monnig can be contacted at 660-748-3315.
