Gilman Boys No Match For Green City
The Gilman City boys were outmatched on Thursday on the road in Green City, falling 79-49 to the host Gophers.
Green City used a 31-14 run in the opening eight minutes to set the tone for the contest. The Hawks would be outscored in the second and third quarters as well before bouncing in and out of running clock situations in the final frame.
Despite the lopsided score, Brody Langfitt had a strong night for the Hawks, going for 27 points and eight rebounds. Jory Stotts added 12 points and three steals for Gilman.
The loss dropped the Hawks to 1-9 overall on the season. Gilman returns to action this Friday, playing host to Breckenridge.
