Tri-County Girls Pick Up Road Victory
The Tri-County girls continued to find wins despite playing with a lineup impacted by injuries and illness. The Mustangs netted an HDC Conference victory at Gilman City on Tuesday night.
Individual scorers are not yet available for Tri-County (7-4, 2-1 HDC).
Gilman (1-8, 0-2 HDC) was paced by 24 points from Jolee Ward.
Tri-County will play the host Bulldogs in the opening round of the South Harrison Tournament on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Gilman City travels to Green City tonight (Friday), tipping off at 6 o’clock.
Tri-County boys 69, at Gilman City boys 46: The Tri-County boys scored their third win in a row on Tuesday night, defeating Gilman City on the road in HDC Conference action.
Noah Tomlinson led the Mustangs (4-7, 1-2 HDC) with 20 points while Garrett Skinner added 14. Gilman (1-8, 0-2 HDC) got 23 points from Brody Langfitt.
Tri-County takes on Mercer at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the South Harrison Tournament. Gilman City is at Green City tonight.

at Mercer girls 52, Southwest Livingston girls 11: Mercer had no trouble getting past Southwest on Tuesday night at home, blasting the visiting Wildcats by 41 points.
Tori Meinecke led Mercer with 21 points, doing most of her damage early with nine in the first quarter. Aubrey Wilson followed with 18 points, getting 10 of those in the third quarter, and Rainey Michael had nine.
Mercer (5-4) will take on Northeast Nodaway in the opening round of the South Harrison Tournament on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
Southwest Livingston boys 36, at Mercer boys 34: Mercer got the defense it needed, but not the offense as the Cardinals dropped their second-straight game with a two-point loss to visiting Southwest on Tuesday.
Camden Hartley led the Cardinals with 16 points, eight rebounds and three steals and Kaden Graham added 10.
Mercer (8-2) plays Tri-County in the South Harrison Tournament on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
