Andy Burress is the third person to file for a seat on the Trenton R-9 Board of Education, subject to the April 7 election.
In addition to Burress, incumbents Brandon Gibler and Corey Leeper have filed for re-election. Three three-year terms are to be filled, with the term of Doug Franklin also expiring.
Persons wanting to run for the school board may file at the R-9 District Office during regular business hours. The filing deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 21.
