Bonnie Ruth Ratliff, an 87-year-old resident of Gilman City, died on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019 at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 at the Frist Baptist Church in Gilman City. Burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery at Gilman City.
A family visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 10 to 11 a.m.
Roberson Funeral Home of Bethany is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ratliff was born on May 13, 1932 near Melbourne, the daughter of Glen Oleath and Sarah Jennie Shepherd Huffman.
She was married on Sept. 25, 1949 in Gilman City to Dale Lee Ratliff, who preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 2016. She was a department manager at Place’s and later in life she drove a school bus. She attended the Christian Union Chapel until it closed and then became a member at the First Baptist Church in Gilman City. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, crocheting, quilting and gardening.
She is survived by her daughters, Vicki McKiddy of Jamesport and Jacki (Don) Duffy of Kearney; a brother, William Huffman of Palmyra; four sisters-in-law, Winifred Burrows of Cold Springs, TX, Linda Ratliff of Bethany, Delores Ratliff of Gilman City and Carolyn (Virgil) Griffin of Coffey; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
