The Trenton Middle School basketball teams picked up a sweep on the road in Carrollton on Monday night. Trenton won the girls game 33-26 and took the boys contest 37-28. Only A games were played.
For the Trenton girls (1-6) Keagan Croy led the way with 10 points and seven rebounds. Madi Moore added six points and five rebounds and Mirena King finished with four points. Nautica Dowling led Trenton with 11 rebounds and also tallied two steals and two blocks.
The Trenton boys (3-4) were led by 16 points from Malikye Hollingsworth and Kiefer Tolson scored 13. Gabe Novak added six points.
All four TMS teams traveled to Putnam County on Thursday and all four teams will be at home on Monday, Dec. 9, playing host to Maysville. Action begins with the B girls game at 4:30 p.m.
