Payden McCullough Earns Eagle Scout Award

Payden McCullough, a member of Boy Scout Troop 97, received his Eagle Scout Award as part of a Court of Honor ceremony held on Monday, Dec. 2 at the First Christian Church in Trenton.
Payden is the son of Tabitha McCullough and Shaun and Lisa McCullough, all of Trenton. His Eagle project consisted of preparing and restaining the restroom, shelterhouse and seating area at the Gladys Grimes Park in Trenton.
Badges earned by Payden included Communication, Emergency Preparedness, First Aid, Citizenship in the Community, Family Life, Citizenship in the Nation, Environmental Science, Personal Fitness, Cooking, Swimming, Citizenship in the World, Personal Management, Camping, Law, Robotics, Sculpture, Space Exploration, Pottery, Fingerprinting, Crime Prevention, Fire Safety, Indian Lore, Leatherwork, Automotive Maintenance, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Farm Mechanics, Fish and Wildlife, Nuclear Science, Photography and the World Conservation Award.
Payden’s positions of responsibility in Boy Scouts include senior patrol leader, assistant senior patrol leader and patrol leader. He is a firebuilder in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say and goes by the name of “Little Mystic Eagle.”
The ceremony was conducted by Dr. Paul Cox, Kasey Bailey and Kevin Bailey. Shaun McCullough is the scoutmaster.
