The Trenton Middle School seventh and eighth grade basketball teams dropped a pair of contests at South Harrison on Monday night.
The seventh grade fell to South Harrison 28-13. Mirena King was the leading scorer with eight points. She also had three steals Avery Clark added two points while Kaegen Croy had one point, 18 rebounds and three blocked shots. The seventh grade is 1-2 and will play on Monday at Chillicothe.
The eighth grade girls lost to South Harrison 31-16. Nautica Downing and Mirena King scored eight points each. Downing also had eight rebounds. Scoring two points each for Trenton were Madi Moore, Jenna Harris, Ella Novak and Emma Roberts. The eighth grade team is 0-3 and will next see action in the Princeton Tournament.
