Billy Ray Carver, a 67-year-old resident of Independence, died on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019 at CenterPoint Hospital.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2019 at the Sugar Creek VFW Post 3976.
Mr. Carver was born on April 10, 1952, the son of Willard and Kathryn Carver. He worked most of his life as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of VFW Post 3976 Auxiliary.
He is survived by a sister, nieces, uncle, aunt, cousins and many friends.
Memorial donations can be made to VFW Post 3976.
