The North Central Missouri College women’s basketball team got back on track on Monday, traveling to Fayette, where the Pirates defeated the Central Methodist University JV, 83-64.
Kortlyn Rounkles continued to score at a frantic pace, leading North Central with 23 points and eight assists. Kennedie Kieffer added a double-double, going for 20 points and 16 rebounds.
With the win, North Central improved to 4-2 overall.
The Pirates are at the Kansas City Kansas Community College Classic today, facing Fort Scott Community College at 2 o’clock. The Pirates will take on host KCKCC on Saturday at 4 p.m.
