Three committees of the Trenton City Council will be meeting next week.
The Economic Development Committee will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, followed by the Administrative Committee at 7 p.m. The Finance Committee will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14. All three meetings will be at city hall.
The agenda for the Economic Development Committee includes discussion of hotel/motel bed tax options, discussion of a tourist brochure, discussion of the historic preservation ordinance and reports from NCMDA Director Micah Landes and Main Street Trenton Director Megan Derry. The agenda for the Administrative Committee includes discussion of specialty signs and discussion of row crop bid specifications. The agenda for the finance committee includes discussion of employee health insurance and the six-month financial review.
